Blue 4 (13th)
A long par 4, the most difficult on this nine, with the drive needing to be hit as close to (or over) the left fairway bunker as possible and left of the large mound on the right side of the fairway, in order to give the shortest second shot to the green. The green is elevated above a line of deep bunkers set diagonally into the steep slope below it. Depending on the drive you may be left with a choice of going for the green or laying up short of these bunkers. The shot in is nearly always one club more than the distance would dictate and made even more difficult as you cannot see the bottom of the flag. The green is wide but narrow and slopes quite steeply from back to front. Anything above the pin leaves a very difficult putt or chip back down the green.
