CLUBHOUSE
The Clubhouse opens at 7.30am.
Please note that we cannot offer any strictly private rooms during the day - all of the rooms may be used by our Members and other visitors, but in our experience this should not interfere with the running of your day. The only private room we can offer is for an evening meal in the Dining Room.
DRESS CODE & MOBILE PHONES
Please refer to the Visitors Information Sheet (click on the icon top right of this page).
CATERING
Please advise us of any special dietary requirements at least 48 hours in advance.
4-COURSE LUNCH
This is served in the Dining Room (non-private room, smart casual dress with a jacket no tie), and is usually a Carvery on a rolling basis - self-service selection of Starters, Main Course (usually Lamb, Beef & Gammon), Desserts, and Cheeseboard (Coffee served downstairs). If numbers are insufficient to run a Carvery, a set meal will be provided.
4-COURSE DINNER
This is served in the Dining Room (private room, minimum 35 people, set meal - waitress service except for Cheeseboard, which is self-service. Jacket & tie required).
TEE OFF TIMES & FORMAT OF PLAY
We have 27 holes - Red, Blue and Green courses. The courses you will be playing are stated on the Society Booking Form.
All play is from the Yellow Tees.
The tee off times and format shown on the Booking Form must be adhered to, as other bookings are taken based on these.
Competitions must be played as Stableford - Medal play is not allowed, nor do we allow 2 Ball Stableford.
TROLLEYS / RIDE-ON BUGGIES
Trolleys/electric trolleys are available for hire from the Professional's Shop.
We have two (one-seater, 3-wheeler) ride-on invalid buggies which can be hired from the Professional's Shop FOR MEDICAL REASONS ONLY. No other type of buggy is available.
NEAREST THE PIN/LONGEST DRIVE
We recommend Hole 8 (Red course) for Nearest the Pin, and Hole 15 (Blue course) for the Longest Drive. We can provide the pins for these competitions - ask the Starter for them on arrival. Please give them to your first golfers to take out, and ask your last golfers to bring them in.
BANNERS/SIGNAGE
Banners (maximum 2) can be displayed just outside the Clubhouse - they must be self-supporting. Limited signage is allowed in the Clubhouse. All signs to be set up and removed by yourselves.
SCORECARD ASSISTANCE
The Club cannot provide any scorecard assistance on the day, however we can usually arrange for one of our Lady Members to assist your party. The cost is £20 per hour (minimum charge £40). Please book well in advance of your day.
PROFESSIONAL'S SHOP
Our Professional's Shop stocks a wide selection of prizes, some of which are shown in the Pro shop section of this website. Please contact them direct on 01932 843523. Discounts on larger orders are available.
