A good uphill par 4 with the drive needing to be straight to avoid the two bunkers on the left and the heather on the right. A good drive leaves an uphill shot to a green where you cannot see the bottom of the flag. The fairway cross-bunker - a classic piece of Colt design - and the ones further up left and right will catch a mis-hit second shot. Out of bounds lurk within the woods down the left and around the back of the green, which is usually one of the fastest on the course.
