The only par 5 on the nine with a drive from a raised tee to an uphill fairway. Trees and heather line the left with deep rough and bushes to the right. The fairway bunker seen from the tee is out of reach for almost everyone off the back tee but can pose a threat from the forward tee. Past this bunker the fairway flattens out and is mostly to the left of the drives landing area. Long hitters can reach the green in two but all second shots have to avoid a long hidden bunker (running in the direction of the shot) that is often on a direct line to the flag. The green, which is large and flat, is guarded by bunkers both left and right. Anything through the green makes the next shot very tricky indeed. Another good birdie chance but it is just as easy to make a bogey by trying too hard.
